Dr. Jain is a graduate of Panjabi University, India. He obtained a Master’s degree in General Surgery from the same university before joining the Urology Residency Program at University of Toronto in 1991. He was a staff member at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto from 1996-1998 before coming to St Joseph’s Health Centre. He is also a staff member in the Division of Surgery, University of Toronto. Dr. Jain has been a surgical staff member at Mackenzie Health, Richmond Hill, Ontario since 1997.

His scope of practice includes general urology with special interest in Uro-Oncology and Endourology. Dr. Jain has been actively involved in teaching undergraduate medical students and urology residents and clinical fellows. His trainees are now practicing urology all over Ontario and other countries such as Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. He has won the outstanding teacher award in the Division of Urology on numerous occasions.

Dr. Jain has served St. Joseph’s Health Centre in the capacity of President of Medical Staff and Board member. He chaired the credential committee for 5 years and has been a volunteer on numerous committees serving the local community and the hospital. He has been providing regular volunteer services in the Caribbean island (Montserrat) for the past 5 years.
